It's hard to be tough with oscar as your coach. He's way more of a pussy than Hoiberg and that's hard to do.

Note that 2/3 of the first threes that ISU made in the second half were lucky as sh it

No it was bad, we benefitted from as many bad calls if not more than ISU. If this was a Seton Hall vs South Florida game I'd be amazed at how bad the officials were.

we are amazing bad at setting screens, this is usually the fault of the person being screened for. Nino routinely turns his shoulder when setting screens, Gip dips and JO doesn't seem to get is position, but some of these things could be alleviated if the ball handlers waited a fraction of a second. Trust me we could have been called for a dozen moving screens and everyone called yesterday was legit.

Was watching the KU OU game and the charge that Withey "drew" when he was in the effing air - nice. Oh, and the 4 blocks in the first half, 3 had contact and it wasn't ticky tack either. Big 12 refs are pretty horrible but then again, water is wet, the sky is blue, fire is hot etc.

Embarrassing performance by John Higgins and his crew to finish the OSU/ISU game. That game had 27 seconds left and the KSU game had approximately 5 minutes left. 3 lengthy conferences and video reviews and a misapplication of the rules later, ISU got screwed out of free throws and I got screwed out of the last 5 minutes of the Cats game because Higgins and his crew are horrible.

I've watched games he's reffed the last 3 nights. Didn't realize they do so many games.

They can do up to 5 or 6 a week, over 100 a season.

I forgot that there was a rule change placing restrictions on travel for the officials so their numbers are down a bit, they still work a lot.

There needs to be a professional ref corps with home regions and levels of play. No reason a ref can go from a preseason tournament in Maui to Puerto Rico in the same week.
