Only way that Sams catches a pass is if he throws it to himself.

"Sams drops back, throws a screen pass to, HOLY SH... himself! how'd he get there so fast! He breaks out into the open and is gone."

Really, Waters didn't seem any bigger at all then Reesing at the spring game. Maybe an inch taller. Dude is a lot shorter than listed.

Lets say Waters becomes our solid starter for the next 2 years.

#LIFE will:

A) Remain as backup to Waters for the next two years and take over as starting quarterback his senior year (or if Waters goes down with injury).
B) Switch to a different position for playing time which might also increase his opportunities at the next level.
C) Transfer

I couldn't care less if the backup between Waters and Sams is happy and doesn't want to transfer.

What I couldn't care more about is that if the starter is a stud and we don't have to worry about the QB position for the next few years.

you should care quite a bit, actually. starting qb's get hurt a lot under snyder.

I guess the point that I'm trying to make is that I don't think that Snyder is going to just throw Sams snaps at QB to keep him happy.

I think Reesing was playing injured by that point in the season. Sparkles was the best quarterback in the Big 12 that wasn't tall enough to ride the rides at Six Flags.
