If we beat Texas with Waters, Mack should be fired before he leaves the stadium.

I don't appreciate Sams' lateral moves as much as I should.

MadCat, have you seen Sams foot planting ability? It's v-good. Next time you are caught not appreciating his lateral moves, just focus on his right foot and it's plantability.

What I have noticed is how he makes it look like he is going to plant the LEFT foot, then says, PSYCH, and plants the right foot. I hope this weekend there is a play where he looks like he is going to plant the left foot, then says DOUBLE PSYCH BURN, and actually plants the left foot. That would be very awesome.

You know who else was good at psyching people out? Former ksu qb Jake Waters. Someday we're going to look back at him starting his first few games and have quite the chuckle!

So Waters is the worst starting QB in the Big 12? That sounds about right, honestly.

Other than that, I think he's played reasonably well.

I haven't seen what teams those other QBs have played but I'm guessing our brutal SOS plays into Jake's relatively shitty stats. Expect him to make up ground as we get deep into conference play.

Only 1 out of every 14 Jake Waters' passes is an interception...
However
1 out of every 17.5 passes is a touchdown.

I'm confident his ratio would be at least 1:1 if he hadn't been forced to go up against a who's who of ass whipping football teams in the non-con.

another way to look at your biased stats: if we unleashed jake to throw the ball 105 times in a game we'd score 42 points which is enough to win a lot of games.

Yet (yet) only three (3) Big 12 QBs can surpass his 9.6 yards per attempt on the season. And only four (4) surpass his completion percentage.

So he's about average in those stats, then? I'm starting to think that steve dave may be right about the competition making our guy Jake look worse than he really is.

how can someone average almost 10 yards a completion but only 1 TD per 17.5 passes? they may want to go back and confirm they haven't given daniel about 12 of jake's TD passes LHC Bill Snyder style.
