I honestly thought that he would either die while in his office, or re-enter retirement after a power struggle with the AD office for who replaces him.

Call me short sighted, but I haven't really considered this as how it ends.  Would probably be the saddest way for it to go down.

Snyder is schemeing. Somebody watching that will either think, "He must be senile, Waters threw that pass." (SCHEMED) or "Sams threw that ball? Crap, now I have to prepare my defense for Sams running OR throwing." (SCHEMED). Just try to avoid being schemed. You can't do it.

It is likely one of the better best schemes by Snyder. _Fan, your thoughts?

I would love to see podium pics of Sams through out the season and his career to see how the crowd goes from a few dumpy looking student reporters to a bunch of high fashion national types in huge crowds.

Will be like marking your kid's height on the closet door and see how much they have grown.

I view that as a positive development. I just can't get over all of his turnovers and lack of production on the field.

Probably the strongest Sams evidence I've heard yet.  Apparently our opponents don't think Water's can get the ball to our speedy WR's and they're scared shitless of Sams.   

Before the UMASS game I was thinking Waters was a good QB but Sams is an athletic stud who is a better fit for the offense.  After UMASS I think Waters is an average thrower at best and Sams is still an athletic stud who is a better fit for the offense.
