Seiler played DE at KSU 2004-2006.

I had a bunch of MNE classes with him and he consistently got better grades than me.

The other thing to remember about Joe Bob is that he is from Emporia, which is one of the truly terrible communities of North America.

I wonder if Gundy is going to make Joe Bob change in a different room because of the famed tattoo.

I'm upset because it's another coach on another conference team that can give Gundy our Goddamn game plan.

Other than that, meh.

It's not very secrety...Joe Bob has a powercat tattoo on his chest or arm or butt or somewhere and when he worked under Mangino he made joe bob change in a different room so other coaches or players or whoever wouldn't be exposed to it.

Not exactly.  Jeb Bob got busted for banging a student when he was teaching at some HS.  Somewhere over by Ottawa.

Joe Bob thoughts

One thing's for sure - the majority of things that happen in the program are totally calculated by Snyder; whether that's good or bad, it's true.  If you haven't been in the lockerroom, you don't know to the level of what I'm talking about.

Joe Bob leaving could be several things -

1) he's truely leaving a his alma mater to pursue a job at another program for personal growth; I think a job at my alma mater would be the perfect job, so I don't buy it.  Kstate is where he got his chance as a walkon, and he's going to be coaching virtually the same position and have even less responsabilities (no recruiting)

2) he's leaving his alma mater for more money - I don't buy it.

3) only one possibility left - he's leaving because he wasn't getting the job done.  One thing I know is that Snyder is about winning and building the program; he's not afraid to reprimand a coordinator for not getting the job done, not to mention an assistant.

** not sure what to think about the idea of a new head coach coming in down the road starting to work in his assistants, but who knows, it's would be a calculated move, so it's also a possibility.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

I like that this guy thinks that Snyder reprimands coaches enough to get them to leave.  Obviously he wasn't around the first time when Snyder burned it to the ground being far to loyal to coaches.

Not a single point is close to correct:

1. He is the d-line coach at OSU.  At KSU he had the ends.  He no longer has to share the d-line with Mo, so he's not virtually coaching the same position.  Also, I have no idea what he means by "no recruiting".  The NCAA is voting this month to change the recruiting rules to eliminate the "baton" rule, so every coach will be recruiting all the time.  Other rule changes will mean coaches have to spend more time recruiting, not less.  Also, Bill Young was let go because Gundy told him college coaching is a young man's game, especially for recruiting.

2. 99% would leave their alma mater for more money if given the opportunity.  Just because this guy has some romantic vision of working for Bill doesn't mean the people who actually do it don't care about money.

3. Pretty sure our DEs this year did a great job.  Meshak was the Big12 D-Lineman of the year.  I have no idea how you could look at that and say Joe Bob wasn't getting the job done.

Less hours, more money, promotion, very good program, great fan following, great recruiting region, and younger coach who is going to be there for the foreseeable future rather than dying/retiring at any minute.

If he didn't take the job, he would be Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).
