You want a job, Ron Prince?
« on: January 10, 2013, 11:44:12 PM »
So, the Jaguars canned their HC today. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8831771/mike-mularkey-jacksonville-jaguars-fired-2-14-season

Any chance they'll elevate Assistant Offensive Line Coach Ron Prince (I know, very lofty title but true) to HC?

I don't think so. But he probably does. My guess is he and the rest of the staff get the axe. Wonder where he'll wind up.

If they made Prince HC I would consider buying Jags season tickets.

I'm sure he could coin something crafty with a garage door and some smoke.

Most likely scenario for Ron having a HC job soon is that they bump up the OC to HC and then bump Ron to OC. Not impossible!

Edit: Their OC just got hired by The Browns! Ron Prince, you're next in line!

Double edit: That was the guy from the Panthers. :frown: I always get the Jaguars and Panthers mixed up.

i don't know how anyone can hate ron prince.  he wasn't a great coach (but he wasn't the worst either).  plus, he gave all of us a ton of laughs.

i love dropping the "play wild and fight like cats" on gamedays.  thanks ron!

I really enjoyed going into So Long Saloon to watch the K-State 'Cats bball team play against Oklahoma State in March 2009 (sad game, yes I know) and none other the Ron Prince was in there enjoying a burger and watching the game too. Struck me as very strange at the time.

I have SO MANY 'shopped RP pics and gifs that I've saved from this site. Some good Wooly ones too, but Ron's take the cake. I should make a quilt with all the great stuff you all come up with!

I always lol'd when Ron and the family always rolled into St. Isadore's 10-15 minutes after mass started.  There's something very funny about watching a BCS HFBC making 7-figures try to sneak into the back of the overflow room trying to keep his kids quite hoping no one noticed.

No, Ron being Ron is late for the spectacle of it.  Was there smoke and lil Jon coming from the doors when they entered?

I would totally buy a Ron Prince photoshop quilt.  Then I would even buy one of those old lady quilt rack thingies and proudly display that mofo.

Yeah, that girl has gotten really fat. My buddy, has a new fiance, and she's way better. I guess Ron was doing him a favor.
