So we're going for Wisky over Michy? Seems counterintuitive on some level.
Mich losing isn't a bad thing right now. I am not sure they will fall to a 4 seed. They didn't lose in noncon but do now have 7 losses to big10 teams.

I think you think a 3-seed is impossible for us. That's what I think. And I think you're wrong.

Win tonight + lose tomorrow = 3 seed
Win tonight + win tomorrow = 2 seed

Why do I think we're closer to a 5 than a 3?
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

I think no way we're a 5 in any realistic scenario.

Oh no i dont think a 3 seed is impossible for us to get.  I said a few days ago that if we make the finals our chances of getting a 3 were a coin flip.  Only reason i said that is because if all the teams just barely above us (the teams i had at 3 seeds) all make or win the finals then that makes it harder for us to get a 3

If we win tonight, i think our chances of getting the 3 are better than of us staying at a 4.

Now, Us getting a 2 seed if we win today and tommorrow.......As of right now, i dont think we would jump up to a 2 seed.   Now In 30 hours or so I may feel different as i see what happens with other conferences

I should recant what i said about Michigan not dropping to a 4 seed.    They most definately could.   They have lost 6 of thier last 12 and their non con SOS was not very strong.

Their defense is crap and their offense has largely become a one-man show of late.  They aren't what they were.

Win tonight and the 3 seed starts to look pretty realistic. Win the championship game and it's a lock.

They have one of the country's best offenses led by one of the best guards.  We don't exactly do well defending good guards.  I would not want to play them again.

yeah his 18 points and 7 assists really showed our ability to shut him down.  or did you mean the other game with 9 assists?

7 points in Manhattan. I bet 25 points is among his lowest 2-game totals vs. any conf. opponent.

Well, we need Duke, Louisville and Indiana to all win their tourneys

Edit: didn't see Duke lost. Yup, they got a 1 seed. Good thinking Jake

Here are my current 3 seeds =

New Mexico,  Florida, Kstate and Michigan

I have Ohio St and Syracuse as the best 4 seeds.     Either one of these 2 win tommorrow and Michigan most likely drops to a 4
I also think if Flor would lose in the SEC semis they could end up on the 4 seed line too.

Florida is in the SEC semis vs Bama.
N mexico is in the MWC finals vs UNLV
Ohio St plays Mich St in Big 10 semis
Cuse play Lville in B East finals
