We are not a lock for kc.

How many more wins until we are a lock?

I think it takes one more.

We are not a lock for kc.

Put however much stock you want into Palm's brackets, I put very little, but in his latest he does not have KSU playing in a KC pod.  He has them as a four seed in the midwest region, playing their first two rounds in San Jose.

San Jose is the stepchild of the pod sites. According to Palm the two highest seeds in San Jose are (4) K-State and (4) St. Louis. Pretty sure you could just swap us with Ohio State

If we cant win 2 games in KC this weekend, then we won't be able to win 2 games in KC during the big dance either.

That seems like faulty logic considering very thing is dependent on matchups, but kudos for your effort.

We will have two games in the Big 12 tourney that are basically home court against teams from Texas and possibly Oklahoma.  All of which we beat at home this season.  If we can't win those then how will the home court help us in the NCAA tourney against likely better teams (not better than us, better than OSU\Baylor).

We will not play a team better than OSU in the NCAA 2nd round as a 4 seed.

Palm's bracket projections have been  a little off for the past month when I have looked at them.

He has Ok st and Creighton both as 6 seeds. He loses credibility with me right there.

If Kstate gets a 4 seed, I really don't believe another 4 seed will steal our KC pod. If there was not a pod in Austin, then OKSt would have had a better shot to steal it.  But us in KC and them in Austin just makes since.

Agreed.  His brackets have not been all that great IMHO

Would rather play OSU than Syracuse or St. Louis in the Sprint Center.

I am concerned we get sent to San Jose, they have to have a few higher seeds there and the Pac is hot garbage (again)

Have not read last few pages - what are the odds Baylor and Oklahoma both get in the tourney?

Honestly, do you want to play MU in KC as our second game?  It would be great fun with all the KU fans in attendance but they have top half of the bracket talent.

ou is in. I'd say 98% they make it. Baylor needs a win over Ok st IMO. If they win, id say 70% they are good. If they lose, I think odds are likely under 30%

how many AQ spots are still available? might make room for a couple of at large bids if the people that are suppose to win their conferences actually do

If anything the at large bids will get smaller.  If some team who is not in right now wins their conf tourney.  I would say that chance is small but it definatly could happen.

I think the 3 weakest teams that i have in right now are UK, Lasalle and Tenn.    Baylor with a win could take out of those teams
Lunardi has Virginia as "Last 4 in".   No way they should be in.   7 of 10 losses to teams RPI 100+.   Their SOS (132) and non con SOS (304)

They'll have to win the first round first.
