So...why is Marquette seeded in front of us?  1-4 record vs. 1-25 with a loss to a team ranked over 100 and a 2-5 road record compared to our 4-4 vs. 1-25, no losses to teams over 100 and a 5-2 road record.  Seems like it should be a slam dunk that we would be seeded higher than them.

do not want that 4 seed. Don't want to see Butler as the 5 and sure as hell do not want to see Indiana in Indianapolis

Georgetown and Kstate have a better resume right not over Marq.   All 3 teams have 5 top 50 wins.   Gtown/Marq are 9-3, while Kstate is 10-3 in conf.   But Marq has 6 losses overall and only 2-5 in true road games

Even though i think Marq Butler and Ok St are behind KState/Gtown on my "S-curve" i think there is gap between the 2 mini groups. Us and GT are clearly the best 4s and are right there waiting to jump to the 3 line.

I think we have a good shot to end up a 3 seed.

Butler originally was a host for the Midwest region so they weren't allowed to be in this spot. I guess now since they left the Horizon League they aren't a host anymore and they can be there. Seems like garbage to me. 5 seeds shouldn't have a chance to play in their hometown unless it's a Final Four.

I don't understand why these bracketologists don't send Arizona to San Jose. It's 40 miles longer than the Salt Lake City trip but they would get to play in a bigger Pac-12 market being in California. More importantly it would open pods that are closer to other teams.

For example:
Send Arizona to San Jose
This opens up Salt Lake City for New Mexico
This opens up Austin for a team like Oklahoma State or even us if Kansas City would happen to be taken

Sorry to rant, but the pod system was created to reward the top 4 seeded teams with a close location whenever possible. Sometimes it feels like they're only rewarding the top 2 seeds, and if just happens to work that the other teams got a close location then it's a bonus.

The breads won again.  It was the ugliest game I've seen in years.  52 fouls called.  Penn State outplayed us in every facet except we shot twenty more free throws.  Not a good sign of things to come.  They looked like crap that someone ate and then crap out again.  Turrible.

They have you as a 10 seed in lunardi's,  that win over Indiana is pretty nice right now.  Please don't beat Michigan, you can do what you want with Ohio State.

.

The team that played last night was the team that started conference play 2-7.  If they've reverted back yet again then Meatchicken will kick their dicks right off their bodies.

Everybody has grinders, when you win them you take it and move on. And there is no shame in finding a way to FT rate someone if the game calls for it.

I agree.  The problem with this group has been that when they play like this it's never just one game, but rather two or three straight.  They tend to string together garbage games in streaks.

Avoid Butler and Wiscy mostly cause they are 4 seeds with us. Though I wouldn't mind being the 3 seed in the East in this bracket (assuming being in KC stays with us)

That's the first "would take" bracket I've seen this year.

I'd feel better if the 5 in our pod was Marquette or Memphis, but yes, would take.

Jerry's middle name is Face. Florida and Butler as 3 seeds. That's bad for opposite reasons. Illinois all the way up at a 6. Charlotte not only in the field but as a 10 seed, and he also has Boise State in.

That's not all but I'm going to stop.
