Still sitting at a #4 seed in San Jose

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology

Given the seeds there, we would absolutely be in KC, not San Jose.
:adios:

So as a 4, our second round game would project to be against Butler/Wisconsin/Pitt.  DO NOT WANT

The order of each group of teams per seed is not sorted by rank. At that point it becomes pretty random, because then you have the factors of where teams play, where other teams in their conference play, etc. that go into setting the actual bracket. I like the charts because they give you a good picture and comparison tool, but its not an exact science because of the other factors involved. That's why I pretty much only look at these charts and really don't care to look at mock brackets. I look at the bracket matrix site, but only because it gives you seed snapshots, and this far removed from selection Sunday I'm really only watching seed possibilities myself.

Yea, brackets are just projections based on 10 other projections at this point.  Seeding and the factors that go into it right now make way more sense

That being said, I wouldn't mind playing any of those three teams in the second round. All three teams like to keep the possessions down and while being tough teams they don't have overwhelming front courts. All five of our losses have  been against teams that completely abused our front court. I wouldn't want a team with a dominant front court or a team with skilled ball handlers willing to push the pace.

I have battered wife syndrome from Butler/Wisconsin.  The slow pace and discipline has beat us too many times for me to like seeing that, despite the changes of our team from Frank's years to this one.

In a weird twist, we've somewhat become a version of Butler/Wisconsin with Frank's players.

Biggest difference, they face up their bigs.  Also Bruswicz or whatever last night

It's only fitting that we lose to Wisconsin for Rodney's last game.

GC with another great post. Really original, witty, and just downright funny. I can't deny I got a good chuckle out of this.

Fighting Breads update: 62-41 road win over Northwestern.  That Northwestern squad last night was the worst I've seen a team look all season.  Hit hard by injuries, but I have to imagine Carmody is done.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

They think they're going to hire Chris Collins from Duke.

What was more awesome was when the announcers talked about how the ginger tolx them in pregame that he perms his hair, it ain't natural.  announcers weren't kidding.
