So moving on to '13

Look at OU's schedule, this three game stretch 9/28, 10/5, 10/12 :sdeek:

The SEC wins the NC every year because they never have elite teams with stretches like that

OU won't be elite with Blake Bell at QB next year anyways.

The Big 12 should be wide open and very fun yet again. I think the final standings will be

1. TCU
2. OSU
3. OU
4. Texas
5. Kansas State
6. Baylor
7. West Virginia
8. Texas Tech
9. Kansas
10. Iowa State

Scanned an article the other day saying they had one of their best qb prospects in a very long time coming in.

I doubt they start a true freshman when they have been building their fans up for the belldozer these past two years.

Man didn't take Nuts Kicked long to fall into the Texas trap.  How could anyone conceivably pick them to finish in the top four? They have the talent, as always, but there is nothing in their history to indicate that they should be picked that high.  I doubt that redshirt QB is worth a crap, why else would he be a redshirt behind the two garbage QBs they had?

Every team behind them will be breaking in new QB's, and they finished 3rd this season.

Yeah, unless TX gets that other QB guy we were going for, I will assume that they will be steered(get it?) by some worthless guy who may/may not be a rapist and who will lose a bunch of games he shouldn't.

Of all the woes college football teams have, I think Mack Brown not being able to have an extremely elite QBs tripping over each other to play for TX year after year is the one that puzzles me the most lately.

I mean, TX has the athletes to be spitting out highly drafted yet under performing NFL QBs constantly, similar to USC.

yeah, the talk down here is that they're going to do a 2 qb system where they both play quite a bit each game.  could be weird.

Maybe, but I would be kind of surprised if Ash doesn't win the job yet again. I guess I just don't see what is crazy about picking a team who just finished 3rd and is loaded with 5* talent to finish 4th next season. If anything, I think I might have picked them too low.

TCU is returning something like 10 starters on defense and their drugged up QB is out of rehab and set to return to the team this month.

tcu and osu are definitely the top 2

probably a group of 6 teams that will fall in some sort of order after that, and then ku and iowa state bring up the rear

I think if TCU gets/wants Pachall back, then they are the favorite in front of OSU (also, the TCU/OSU game will be in FW).  After that?  Who really knows.  KSU gets 5 home games, however TCU and OU are two of them, though KU is a road game (although I do think they will be better – how can they be worse?).  I think it might end up like this:

TCU
OSU
Baylor
OU
UT
KSU
KU
WVU
TT
ISU

Also, if you want something to laugh at that no one in the media will take into account, look at Alabama’s and A&M’s schedule next year.  Absurdly easy.

I'd rather have Sams or Waters in their first year as a starter than an experienced Ash

Yeah, but I would also like to have 5* players at RB, WR, OL DL, LB, CB, and S that Texas has.

No way in hell TCU wins the conference, their OLine is water trash and they have to go to Norman and Stillwater.

I think overall OSU has more talent and that will give them the edge. TCU will be 2nd or 3rd though.

Agreed on OSU.  TCU is going to have a really nice defense (as always), but unless their QB situation works itself out, they're not going to go 7-2 (which is probably the floor every year for someone to at least get a share of the title.

I think KSU finishes top four.  People are really underestimating how really favorable our schedule is next year.  It's really pud.
