The fact that you guys celebrated like it was the national championship after KU lost tells me all I need to know about your inferiority complex.  Thanks for validating yourselves as a bunch of low self-esteem losers.

What are you going to do with your time now, since, you know, your men's college hoops team isn't one of the top 16 teams in the country?

Yeah... there were four or five douchebag K-State fans a couple rows in front of me, and they literally started screaming and hugging each other after the KU game was officially over.  It was quite a sight to behold, and it reminded me why I consider myself lucky to have been raised a KU fan.  I honestly wanted to stay and watch the K-State/BYU game, but I would have probably been arrested and thrown into an Oklahoma City jail for aggravated assault.

This is your first Sweet Sixteen appearance since 1988.  I would tell you to act like you've been there before, but you haven't, so feel free to keep making yourself look like an idiot.

To be fair uk did have the toughest bracket ever in the history of the NCAA tournament. To be ranked #32 out of 300+ teams is still pretty good.

Well, first of all, the '10 Jayhawks aren't KU's best team ever.  Sherron Collins isn't KU's best player ever, and KU is still one of the top 16 teams in the country.  I'm obviously bummed out about KU getting beat in the second round of the tournament, but those players are the ones who are hurting right now.  Like Coach Self said after the game, those players are the ones who created the high expectations.  They're the ones who went out and went 33-2 and convinced everyone that they were the best team in the country.  Obviously they were a bit overrated, and they probably overachieved a little bit this season.  I can't say I'm really that surprised that they lost to Northern Iowa, though.  It's just the nature of the NCAA tournament... sometimes a team is just better on that given night.

I thought the Sweet 16 = 16 best?  So, the national champ then isn't the best?

They don't rank the top 16 teams based on who went to the Sweet Sixteen.  Like I've said, I would expect you guys to know this, but you haven't been here before, so I'll let it slide.

Sorry, bro, only the top 16 teams in the nation are playing next Thursday and Friday.  Better luck next year, 'hawks.  Top 32 isn't something to be ashamed of, though, man.

Upsets happen in a one-and-done tournament.  It's just the nature of the beast.
