Any box score available for the game? Points wise a graphic after the game said Kaluma 23, Cam 17, Perry 17, RJ 13, Tomlin 10. Also Cam was 3 for 8 from the line I gather from what was shown on his last trip to the strip SMH.

I watched some of the first half and had the following observations

1. Kaluma is really good, damn.
2. Tomlin got a lot better in the off season, he is also really good.
3.  It's really hard to watch a bad stream absent of English speaking commentary.

Our bigs are pretty good, and will allow us to spread the floor.  N'Guessan has not been scared to shoot 3's in Europe, and Tomlin shot his fair share all last year and obviously has more confidence this year.  The freshman look really good.

Add in Tylor Perry and we have a legit Big 3. If the role players can fall into their spots and the right guys can provide quality depth, we should be really damn good.

(Perry went 9 of 11 from 3 in one of the games in Isreal. WTF)

I don't really know what the market looks like for bball coaches but that seems like a pretty damn good deal for KSU athletics

So how steep is the buy-out number?
Good buyout for both parties
Quote
Under the new deal, Tang would owe the school $6 million if he were to leave for another job after this season, and that number drops by $1 million each spring. If Kansas State were to terminate Tang's contract without cause before April 30, 2025, it would owe him north of $15 million. That number drops by approximately $2.5 million each spring.

I'm guessing he thinks it's too low of a barrier for him to be poached

Structured perfectly for our guy Tang to command a nice raise should he perform admirably over the next 2-3 seasons.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Yeah, the higher you make that number the higher you have to make the per year salary and the other side of that buyout. Also having, a let's say a $10 million dollar payout for Tang to get out, won't deter anyone we'd be worried about poaching him, if they wanted him.

Giving your head coach a huge buyout because you are scared he's going to get poached is the easiest and most common way that athletic departments get stuck with underperforming coaches who had one or two good years but were never able to replicate it.

Yeah, contracts are really just risk-shifting mechanisms. The results of negotiations merely reveal how important certain risks are to the respective parties. This seems like a "try and buy" kinda situation where Tang stands to end up with a fat(ter) contract (and higher buyout) in a few years. But it's also a public endorsement by the University, and it projects stability for recruits.
