Children usually learn behaviors by seeing and copying their parents.

says the cold empty womb.

This board has convinced me once and for all that all dudes have their periods this time of year.

Sexism is not tolerated on this board

yes confirmed.

do you know the saying "I eat ___________ for breakfast?" meaning that whatever is in the blank is pud?  Well this saying applies to my son in both the literal and the metaphorical sense of the word.

Is this the awkward master thread?

Anyway, you know that little moment during a video conference when you've decided the meeting is over but you have to like close the meeting, that 2.8 seconds is really awkward for me for some reason.

Come up with a sign-off phrase.  Like maybe "EMO OUT!" and smash the hang up button.

Is what you would do if you liked being in middle management for the rest of your career.

Maybe reach under table and pull out a Bud Light Clamato 22 OZ and crack it.

It's just the time of moving the mouse to the X and clicking it that's awkward.  It's probably less than a second but totally feels like 2.8 seconds.  And the whole time I can see them moving the mouse to hit their X, too.  It's like we've totally decided to stop looking at and talking to each other but no it must endure for another few fractions of a second.  Also these people are always in another country and English is a second or third language and we're not good at reaching each other's social cues for when the conversation should be over.

Turn to off screen as you click closed and say stuff like,  "welp, now that we have talked to them all,  lets nail down who we are firing".
