I'm just glad we finally beat a decent opponent. I don't think we did that once last season.

Not even a minor setback. Just a fun game in the middle of TBiD season.

Crap, I missed some in my 10-second compilation... three additions below.  That's what I get for relying on the chuckleheads at KSU SID.

Here's your list of biggest non-con wins by ranking (I think) I KNOW:

#2 Oregon State (1981)
#2 Cincinnati (1958)
#3 Purdue (1988)
#4 NC State (1958)
#4 LIU (1951)
#5 Wichita State (1964)
#5 North Carolina (1960)
#7 Notre Dame (1952)
#7 La-Lafayette (1973)
#8 Florida (2012)
#8 Minnesota (1981)
#9 St. John's (1961)

So, it's the first win over a top-10 team since 1981... (unless you count Purdue in the 1988 NCAA tournament).  Which does count.

People are really forgetting burnitdown's platform (which is apt, because part of the platform is that people would forget it).

The burnitdown platform is a juvenile, ad hoc tautology. Belvis tried to question them on having an inconsistent view of Weber as both a good and bad coach. Other than that, they got away with it. It’s really an absurd view, though. Where’s the evidence that there’s some natural type of coach who in Job A is good with someone else’s (highly recruited) players, but bad with his own (highly recruited) players, then turns around and in Job B is good with someone else’s (mid level recruit) players, but bad with his own recruits. Examples? Even supposing that this is a legit coach classification, there’s no evidence that Weber is this type of coach. There can’t be. He’s only had Job A thus far. It’s all just self-serving speculation overstated to the point that it was presented as fact. And it’s absurd speculation at that.

I prefer to dwell on him running Illinois into the basement of the Big 10 after having won the league.    Is there evidence he'll repeat this pattern?  We will have it soon enough, won't we!

It's enough for burnitdown, who has been thoroughly anti wait-and-see.

I would explain BiD to you again, but it's been explained hundreds of times on here and you still don't get it, so at this point I don't think you are capable.

BiD would be best served not trying to explain the platform beyond just "hating oscar"
