He voted against $1.1 trillion spending bill that included NBAF. Is the logic that he is supposed to vote for any budget-busting abomination if it includes some dollars for Manhattan?
if he wants to get re-elected. Also recall that Tim voted against NBAF funding, voted for the funding when it shaved off $104 million, then went to the groundbreaking and claimed:
"I’ve been working to get NBAF approved and finalized since I was in the Kansas State Senate; it’s been a long road, and this groundbreaking comes not a day too soon."
so, let's just remember Tim wasn't some sort of unique Freedom and liberty flower of unimpeachable ethics.
