Honest question, can you taste a difference between Jack and Kentucky Deluxe when you mix it with that much ice and Coke?

You can if you have imbibed enough to figure out that the bottom shelf stuff is linked to uncontrolled poops and heartburn.

I just threw out Kentucky Deluxe because it was the cheapest one I could think of. I don't understand spending that much more money on liquor if you're going to mix it with that much Coke. Seems like you wouldn't be able to taste the difference. If you drank it on the rocks on mixed with water, I'd understand the difference.

Great example, I heard a lady order a Grey Goose and Red Bull the other day. Why in the world would you pay that much more for vodka when there is absolutely no way you can taste the difference?

the bartender at mae's last night made fun of some guy for ordering 1776 and coke.  it made me smile.

anyway, i can fully taste different vodkas when mixed.  i don't like greygoose or absolut.  love stoli and tito's.  ketel one is meh, and the cheap stuff doesn't bother me.

in other whiskey news, i was at the casino a few weeks ago and was getting rum and diets and was half paked after a few and noticed they started tasting weird for like 3 of them and the waitress comes around and she's like "another jack and coke?" and that's when i realized why they tasted weird, but couldn't put my finger on it.

Drank more tonight than I had anticipated. That's OK because it didn't kill me. One more scotch and it's to bed. Then up in time to watch our Cats.

Gotcha.  I will say that I can definitely taste the Jack quite a bit over the coke to the point where the coke is pretty much just making it sweet.

I have to try the on the rocks I guess.   Would save a bunch of calories that way.

CNS you might like W L Wellers + Coke.  It goes great with a juicy ribeye, ohh man so damn good.

Finished off a delicious meal at Rieger with a nice 18 year single malt on the rocks. Only way to end a meal.

Today will evolve standard brunch drink then IPA enjoying Angel destroying the pokes.

Give me another see through, Steven!
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I took a shot of Tito's vodka yesterday. It was delicious, and I hate vodka.

Hot tea, honey, lots of whiskey. The better the whiskey, the better it is for your throat (just made that last part up, but it seems like it would be accurate.)
