I also think this guy (if he wants to play) should get as much money as possible from NIL since he would be leaving $5m on the table.

Right. Your source could very well be correct but it's an excuse that everyone is using for everyone and it's hilarious. There isn't nearly as much nil money flying around as people think and most fans now think every player is involved in some active bidding war, shits hilarious.
