If Heaps works out, KU might actually be decent next year.  We probably could have won 3-4 more games this season with a solid QB.

I might even go 5 more wins.

Another homerun recruiting class for KU. If they don't win the Big 12 next year it's gotta be the coaching.

baylor tech and ut are all feasable. but what you gain in heaps you lose in your oline i think you are forgetting how bad your oline is going to be next year, that and well heaps isnt that good

Sounds familiar

Bob Fescoe
?@bobfescoe 22 Dec  With the addition of Crist #kufball has the best Qb in the big 12 assuming of course landry Jones goes pro

If you take Jones out of the equation, by how many qb's was Fescoe wrong? 15?

Just got another commitment today from a Juco o-lineman, who chose KU over Arkansas and Texas Tech.

the part you don't get is that Charlie is the type of guy who runs kids off the team so someone like Crist can be "the guy".  Meanwhile, some dude who looks like your accountant keeps Bryce Brown on the bench because he won't compromise anything but taking care of all your responsibilities.  One guy is a successful season, the other has 4 consecutive non-winning seasons as a head coach.  I will let you guess which guy is which.

Heaps will need a running game next year...you are losing your three most experienced and best OLineman.  When that happened at Florida and Notre Dame things didn't look so good.  I remember an offense at Notre Dame that ranked in the 100s...one at Florida as well.
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

wow, dude.  They beat KSU in a tight game.  They also beat aTm in '11 only to lose by 48 this year to the Aggies.  You really don't pay attention much to football.

And the caliber of player Arkansas is getting?  They got a commitment from a Butler juco OL who was a walk-on at KSU and couldn't earn a scholie so he left for Butler.  He was offered before the dude who committed to you guys.

would you have followed football this year?  (if you were a fan of ku?)
