The ideal GF/Wife in terms of sports viewing/knowledge is one who appreciates your passion, and doesn't begrudge you watching or going to a game, but isn't a fanatic.

First and foremost it's about the cartoon logo.  These chicks aren't knowledgeable sports fans - they are fans of the cartoon logo and of drinking on game days and they bring kinda a strange hybrid soccer mom/country gal mentality to cheering on the boys on the team, like a mom would cheer on her son's high school football team.
