I mean this nice, but man. Sometimes you kids are jerks.

I have been a huge college football fan my entire life -- not because I'm fat, ugly or insecure. But I'm a bit of a daddy's girl, and daddy both played and briefly coached college football. I come by it naturally -- like if your family was always way into the opera, you probably have an appreciation for it.

But I'll listen off line, and try not to vomit into my beer at you weirdos who think women should be in the kitchen deboning chickens and breast feeding.  :shakesfist:

Mrs. _33 doesn't care. I mean she's a K-State grad, likes the cats, but she doesn't really care at all.  Which is great. During the Mich bball game I was all like "NO! SON OF A BITCH BASTARD ASS!" and she's all like "hey calm down weirdo." And I'm all like "ya, I should."

Pretty much, KSU girls are way more adjusted.  Mrs. LSOC is a EMAW grad but after the Baylor game was "sorry bro, what are we doing for dinner tomorrow?"

KU people are weird

gonna agree with _33 here.  dated a girl that was a HUGE ku fan (mostly basketball, but she would enjoy football too).  it was annoying as eff.

I think it's an insecurity thing. Their entire life Kelly K-State has been better looking, smarter, dated better guys and just overall been better.  Then once in a blue moon Janice Jayhawk has a chance to be a winner at something- her team is going to win it all, and  finally best Kelly K-State (although Kelly doesn't care about sports).

BUT tucked in the back of Janice's mind is that victory will be snatched away in dramatic fashion.  She shrugs it off.  Not this year she says.  Our Hawks are so great, I love the rose ceremony.  Our arena is an antique memory lane (never mind that it is really just an old dump.)  We are KU!  Rock Chalk!!!  This is OUR time!  I'm a Jay-jay-jay-jay-jayhawk!!!  Then BOOM!  Crushing defeat.

Fanning likes to prey on the insecure.

there is nothing worse than a girl who likes sports.  nothing.
:dubious: There's nothing worse than a girl who's a respect when it comes to sports. The hottest thing on earth is when a girl can banter sports. The hottest thing.

I've got your back on this one fanning. It's definitely attractive.

my wife's a ksu grad and enjoys sports.  understands football and basketball (played b-ball and v-ball at juco) but she doesn't get weird about it.  like she'll sit down and watch and game and get into it, but she's also cool with entertaining the kids so I can watch the game in peace.  pretty good balance.

Nope. Yuck.

kc and 33 are 100% correct here.  I won't have a thing to do with it.

Mrs Gooch seems to have a talent for it, but she isn't here talking sports.  Therein lies your answer, Dlew.

the wife has a closet full of KSU clothes and wears them often, but won't attend or sit down and watch a game.

but mostly because she thinks she's a jinx. Cat teams tend to do better when she leaves the room, so she's basically banned from watching the cats.

she's very angry about the media not liking us though.

ku girls = ku sluts, all of them.  what can you say about them that hasn't already been said?

every single one of them has that old kate goslin hair cut that they got out at Olathe's Salon De Ville, which their cousin from De Soto owns.

they're complete sluts full of insecurity who work days at the tanning salon and nights at Advance Auto Parts, all in an effort to scrap enough cash to buy gas to make it down to the P&L on the weekends so they can hit up Mosaic and hopefully meet the $30k millionaire of their dreams.  the hope is that he'll take them back to his rented apartment in Westport in his leased 3 series and hopefully, he'll forget to wear a jimmy hat and 9 months later along comes lil' Darnell Elijah, or Connor Aquib.

I talked to a friend of mine who owns a sporting gear company. Makes t-shirts and fan paraphernalia, etc. Anyways, he told me they don't even bother to make girls KU shirts that are small or medium (and obviously not x-small ) because they just couldn't sell them. He said if you want to get rid of some XXL shirts, make girly KU shirts. They'll sell like hot cakes.

The ideal GF/Wife in terms of sports viewing/knowledge is one who appreciates your passion, and doesn't begrudge you watching or going to a game, but isn't a fanatic.

KKK GF asked me what a touchback was a few days ago. I stared at her boobs because she doesn't deserve to be looked in the eyes, laughed at her, and then rudely told her to make me a turkey sandwich.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Did she also ask you why you like to choke her from behind during coitus?  I feel like that has been asked.  Also like you really like to role-play, but it's always you as some residential bruglar sex offender guy and she's the victim.  Her question to you being why this again and why do you like that, and you're all .

And this. My gf loves watching the games, but I doubt she knows who Adam Davis is.  She also doesn't get upset when little baby parrot14 gets nervous and yells GOD rough ridin' DAMMIT every time the opponent gets like 3 yards, so she can handle the meltdowns.
