yes, I can't believe there's anyone left that doesn't realize this is the only solution.  It's nice to think about someone doing something horrible to them until you realize they'd love all the money and publicity from it.  I'll look at their signs, laugh at the funny ones, and go about my day because that's exactly what they don't want.

One of you needs to go up and talk with them like they are Jehovah Witnesses. Act like you are learning from them. Then ask to carry a sign in protest with them. Then, when you get the sign, start marching like you are one of Hitler's soldiers with a great high step (HHSCIQ), maybe sing a German song and then run away with the sign singing "Three blind mice."

I was in high school one of the years they were protesting a KSU graduation. Went with some friends with a huge "Why so serious?" poster and stood across from them. Also had a "Fred Phelps Eats Bugs" one (thanks, FD).
