None taken. I would propose more of a battle royale situ where we all fight each other to the death. Sort of like the Hunger Games mixed with thunderdome, but more like thunderdome. The winner chooses who our head coach will be. When I win, I choose Brad Stevens. Mainly because he looks like he knows what he'd doing, particularly when wearing glasses. Smart people wear glasses. Cept Shaka Smart. But you don't have to when you're literally named "Smart".

Did you see him as the lead yesterday melted from something like 26 pts down to 6 pts in a couple minutes at the end of the game? The cam kept going to him like they wanted some frustrated meltdown shot, and Brad no-denied them repeatedly. Cool as a cucumber. Like he was watching game film.

Cold blooded, genius, and young enough to set fire to all coaching records if he went somewhere elite right now.

Yeah, he isn't getting Indiana anytime soon.

Kinda surprised he didn't go UConn. He must have one or two jobs targeted and simply is happy to stay at Butler until those one or two jobs become avail. Which is stupid. I mean, if he could be making twice the salary and building his rep even more elsewhere in the mean time until those couple perfect jobs open up, take them, build the rep and earn the money.

The risk of doing so and losing is less than staying at butler, not making the tourney a couple years in a row, and being written of as not being the coach everyone thought.

I agree about Duke, but the guy could be coaching at Illinois or UConn right now, getting higher rated athletes, playing on a bigger stage, and if he is the coach ppl think he is, accomplishing more all while making more money. Then, you know what, when Coach K retires, he can still go to Duke but can do so after making $10M(over a contract) more, getting better recruiting ties, and coaching against better talent weekly than he will while at Butler.
