Don't do it yourself. Buying the right part isn't easy. Lotta fake screens on the internets.

why are you replacing the screen? what did you do to the original screen?

It's actually just the glass. The LCD is still good. One of my kids took a spill off a chair and the iPad hit the floor shattering the glass.
