Is this the Nextdoor/Facebook thread?

Just post about it on there and report back. Make sure to be racist in your post.

That effing sucks, I've seen plenty of dumb things onsite, it's easy to make fun but jesus being hurt onsite for a small moment of dumbassery is a big payment for a moment of weakness

lol I don't think this meme existed back in 2012 but the origin of this thread is basically a "Let me speak to your manager" moment.

ya i definitely am not making fun of him and felt very bad for the guy, he was able to move his hand but he was in a ton of pain.  i don't see any way how his arm isn't broken, thank god he didn't stick his head down there.

So thankful skid steers have parking button and lap bars to assure you are in before operating... i would have ef'd myself long ago.

Unfortunately that doesn't save the poor guy working with you on site.

A more fun skid steer story is one time when I was working for the Kstate dairy farm they were short because one of the actual farm kids was sick or something so I was in charge of loading the liquid crap spreader with the skid steer.

So I’m scooping up the liquid crap, then I lift the bucket and I suck at the controls and it is a little jerky on the way up and wouldn’t you know it, liquid crap starts sloshing over the back of the bucket and hitting me.

Needless to say, not a great day for me out at the old dairy farm, but my arm was fine just had to go over by the calf huts and let some cowboy hose time down.

Jesus, thank God. I read your description as if he lost part of his arm.

dear god, what a nightmare.

everyone i work with makes fun of tailboards and safety standdowns and crap, but i've been working on construction sites for ten years or so now and i think the worst that's happened is someone losing a finger.

I've been on site a few times for bad falls or deep cuts, but they all recovered fine.
