If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.
KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue
Beer pro tip: never drink anything other than BL, coors, pbr, maybe a few others that I'm forgetting
this made me lol"We will get a game closer to bowl eligibility next week"
Not only will we not, but I'm glad to send Kstate on their way with a convincing win over us. The Big 12 needs a team in the national championship game, and Kstate needs to be that team this year. We had our chances to go and get ourselves great wins all throughout the season, and we haven't. Since we don't have a chance in the world to beat a team with actual defense and a heisman-candidate level qb/offense, I hope Kstate thrashes us. The worst thing, at this point in the season, looking forward, would be for a team like Kstate to screw up and give us a game. So many people would forget the rest of the season, a win like that would become a moral victory, and that's the last thing we need. Bowl game? Sure, let's beat Tech and lite. But I'd be sad to see us beat Kstate, because the Bears need them in the national championship game, and because guys like Bennett would be able to point to it and say "see, we're good enough to beat the #2 team in the country." God I hated reading that, that Bennett told his defense that they were the better defense for 10 games last year. I'm not even sure that I want him to have another year at this point. It doesn't take 2 years to make minor adjustments and improvements.
I like the "we match up well with them" talking point. I'm not sure if that's more popular with opponents or if "stack the box and make him throw".
You could make a case that GMFP let up and didn't try for the win.
