I agree, but i also think the same forces that won't let a defensive player win, will keep a freshman from doing too much.

But anything could happen.

more than anything manzy proves that the most valuable type of player is a qb that can run and throw. so then it's just a matter of finding the best one of those on the best team.

I kind of feel that 2/3 of the award goes to how good the player is, but 1/3 goes to how good your team is. Possibly more. Still think Manziel could win it.
