Rhoads knows how to win, it's a combination of good fundamentals, smart play, and hard work. It's just that sometimes a team can do all those things and still lose.

Not worried.

Let's remember this was against Paul "3 conference wins" Rhoads.

they're going to be 9-2, _fan, that's really good no matter who you coach against.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful to Texas. They'll be tough, but I think we win in Manhattan.

I'm just glad to see loser Rhoads lose.

Had a 25 minute argument on the way to Manhattan last Saturday with 2 dudes who were convinced Rhodes is a "fantastic football coach", then they argued Doc is a "pure shooter"

true story.

I think 98 just enraged him - he had witnessed the ascension of football at the expense of hoops

And now we head to Colbert Hills for another installment of "reeeer" with ksu_FAN.

The Clones rushed for 4.65 yards per carry against those clowns.

Guys, is there any way we can convince Mack to "take one for the conference"?

I mean texas really likes money, right?  Maybe they can be convinced that they'd get more of it having the Big XII represented in the MNC rather than just one team in a regular BCS bowl.

I mean, just let it go, Mack -- don't even gameplan. Just roll the ball out there and let'em play, Frank style.

That game is terrifying.
yeah I haven't been nervous since we beat wvu but I'll be an absolute wreck for that game.

I'm not sure they're rounding into form. They barely beat KU. They barely beat WVU (granted that was a while ago). We dominated TT, and they barely beat them. And we will have the rowdiest home crowd we've ever had, plus the Big 12 refs on our side.

In conference games they're last in yards per carry allowed, yards per game given up, and have given up 17 rushing TD's, better only than the 18 that Baylor has allowed in conference games.

Not worried.

I'm slightly more worried about Baylor than Texas. I'm afraid Zimmerman's backup could get burned a couple of times.

Can somebody please list all the teams from Texas that could come into a sub-freezing BSFS in December on Klein, Brown, Harper, etc's Senior night with a trip to the BCS game on the line, our crowd totally juiced, (both literally and figuratively) and pull off a win in that scenario?

I'm not even sure the Cowboys or Texans could given all the above.

Locked that up in Lubbock.  Mack got an amazing hug from Deloss. Super adorable.
