if any fellow emaws are near the airport down here, and are willing to help another emaw out  pm me. i'm more or less "stuck" at the sheraton dfw for a few more hours as my friends started late this morning driving so they wont be down for a while, so i'm trying to make it over to ft worth area and not paying 50+ for a cab would help. if anyone is in the area, would trade a ride for some beers.

Ask the front desk if they have a shuttle. Sometimes airports will drop you somewhere if the shuttle isn't busy.

their answer was to take their airport shuttle to dfw, take the south parking lot shuttle to the south remote lot, from there walk to a TRE station, take the TRE a few stops and then take a cab (now only $20, but 1 hr 45 min total, and not really up for an adventure).  was not much improvement there. thanks for the idea sd. its not a terrible problem, but i get kicked out of my room soon and then i'll have to wait in the lobby for too long for them to swing over, so if anyone was already over here (rental car or staying near here etc) then it'd be nice to get a ride over

That idea from them is awful. Good luck. Maybe just creepily proposition people in the parking lot for a ride?

well i see one suv outside the lobby with a big old on it so if I see them hop in i might pull a weird robert. keeping an eye out for that good purple.

car ended up being some dudes from salina i think. said they were going to the game but none of them seemed like they wouldn't creepy, so i decided to take the late option and stay at the  bar
