Best Dallas suburb dining establishment?
« on: November 09, 2012, 04:08:12 PM »
Help out the horde headed south. Which strip mall do we dine at? Want to experience it like the local Poors.

Usual suspects?
Applebees
Chilis
Texas Roadhouse (or is it just called Roadhouse down here?)
Outback (too ethnic for Texas?)
Cheddars
Olive Garden

Or do they have some fancy new place that serves extreme fajitas and poppers?

Thanks

Stop by Dutch's.  People drive fast in the metroplex, be careful
 Farm kids.

Redneck Heaven.  Don't know if the food is any good but the atmosphere is top notch.

I'm gonna try to find that place where you can eat a 17lb steak for free.  I'm not actually going to eat there, I just want to make fun of the fatties there.  "Everythings bigger in Texas!"

It's in Amarillo and I know someone who successfully finished that meal.  He was a 320 pound offensive lineman at one of the KCAC schools.

So, Amarillo is a better suburb of Dallas than Ft. Worth?  Maybe I should change hotels and stay there then.

Not quite.  I saw Chamber of Commerce pamphlets in Amarillo with the slogan "Hey, at least we're not Lubbock!"
