I was def at both Exhibition games.  Plus, more fans would be there if oscar Weber wasn't the coach

How can our starting 5 (sub Will for the Straw) be so adorable, and yet the rest of our team be so terrible looking?  It just drops off of a cliff.

I don't blame people for not going.

People only have so much capital to invest in sports excitement.  November Monday night basketball games against Lamar takes a back seat right now.

Many are simply apathetic about bball because of football. Many because of oscar.  Many because we've got another game tomorrow night and didn't want to make the trip 2 nights in a row.

I'm a combo of reasons #1 and 3.

1 is the absolute worst reason, it isn't a reason its an excuse.  There are many people who are 1s who think they are better fans than 2s.  Waaaayyyyyy worse

Maybe a few more than 4,000, but certainly not as many as we've been accustomed to the last few years...even this early in the season.

Plus, I'm pretty sure this is finals week for students.  That probably has something to do with it also.

belvis- what's your take from both of the regular season games that you've gone to this year? how was the crowd? halftime, pregame, etc? break it down for me friend. better i'm sure since you hated going to early season games under frank but would still go and then just complain about them. break down the difference for me.

I'm pretty sure the students are just studying a lot more now that oscar is our head coach.  Probably have a lot more tests.

I'll try my best, friend.  The North Dakota game that I drove 4 hours round trip for - as opposed to merely hopping across town - I was impressed with our second half.  First half, not so much.  Crowd sucked, energy level wasn't very high.  Little Cat Slam Jam was uninspired, except for the first kid (who ultimately won).  Classy Cats were pretty horrible, but I'll give em a pass because I'd imagine the A squad was in DFW.  BBTF was Elite.  Like DJamer's energy level.  Nino is proving my comments wrong from last season.  maybe it's the system, but he's looked pretty solid thus far.  Pretty meh experience, but with a new coach and new system, I couldn't be dissapointed with a 30+ pt win.  Also, with the students gone, got to watch the 2nd half from the first row of the student section.  One complaint is how oscar clasps his hands while standing.

Didn't go to Lamar - because I'm going tonight.  With a career and family, it can be difficult to do back-to-back games in Manhattan.  Because, again friend, I've got to drive 4 hours round trip - as opposed to merely driving across town.  I'll make sure to report my findings after tonight's game.  Not sure where your seats are, but I'm in Sec. 18 - row 13.  feel free to stop by and say hello.

And don't worry about me complaining.  Though I didn't have a lot to complain about in the N.Dakota game, I can assure you that if this team has any early season Charleston Southern or North Florida type performances like they did under Frank in '11-'12, I'll assuredly come on here and bitch and complain.
