Snyder on injuries = BITB

David Ubben?@davidubben
Klein on his missing helmet: "He's had his helmet off before. Maybe it was uncomfortable." Snyder on injuries is legitimately hilarious.

Holy crap

As long as Klein doesn't take the snaps in practice all week and then decide he can't go 5 minutes before kickoff, we should be fine.  /Meier'd

D. Scott Fritchen?@DScottFritchen
Monday -- LHC Bill Snyder on Collin Klein: "He's fine to me." Is he going to play Saturday? "I hope so." You know so? "I hope so." *chuckles*

Love that Dodd was the guy stonewalled by Bill on this question. No wonder he hates Snyder and the Quatz.

I think Snyder masturbates during these type of questions. I really think he gets off telling the media to eff off.

Talked to an athletic training instructor this morning.  He said that if Collin doesn't clear his ImPACT (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing) today they won't let him play on Saturday.  An athlete must show no signs of cognitive loss 5 days prior to competition.  Bill may honestly not know the results of the testing at the time he was asked about this.

What if he shows no signs 6 days prior?

snyder's reply to the next question about collin just needs to be, "these aren't the droids you're looking for." i mean seriously they deserve it if they keep asking

Is this speculative, like he is just sharing his HImPACTIQ just in case CK has a concussion, or is he saying this is what is actually happening.

I would think that qualifies.  I don't the whole ImPACT procedures myself.  The instructor did say that "they" can tell when the results of an ImPACT are faked, but I don't even know who "they" are.  Some medical board?  :dunno:

Considering the instructor started the conversation with "Is Collin concussed?", he was just relaying what schools do for concussions these days.  He then went on about some of the humorous stuff doctors would do for concussed players back in the mid-20th century.

Such lightheartedness suggests a lack of credibility in my book.

Even so, I think BITB Bill is just getting his rocks off in his late age by effing with the media.

I am hearing that Currie won't let Snyder play Klein, though Klein cleared post-concussion tests

We talk about football stuff all the time.  I don't take his classes so he might relay this stuff differently to me than to those who actually should be learning it.
