I just want someone who can intelligently preview games and get me pumped.  I'm not interested in watching some old man get his hand held through every sentence and put on a mascot head.

It isn't sad, it is just annoying.  There are hundreds of talented on-air folks out there but we get him slurring and making no sense just so he can put on an old timey swimsuit and pretend to do a belly flop off the high dive.  He isn't some tradition you cannot tamper with.
