Why are we convinced that we won't lose several close ball games, and piss down our legs to go 19-15.

players matter way more than coaches.  ar-t is really good, and could turn out to be great.  there is no reasonable path open for weber to fail until ar-t leaves.

This makes me very happy that angel will carry us for a few more years

the ceiling for this team is the round of 32.  That was as far as we got last year and we were being coached by one of the best in the game.

Certainly coached by one of the 4 or 5 best coaches in the Conference.

players matter way more than coaches, unless you have a coach you happen to hate in which case it's the coach that matters more than anything else.

yup, I told you we were going to have a great time this season on the ol' bbs.

i meant that they matter more in determining who wins and who loses, not in determining how much fans enjoy the season.

Is pissclams the best poster on goEMAW? Is he the best poster of any big 12 team? I can't answer these questions, but this post makes me ponder them.

Jesus, last year there was a mile long thread debating whether Angel should start, now if oscar succeeds it will only last until he fails, and if he fails, we told you so.  If I could buy you jaggoffs for what you're worth and sell you for what you think you're worth I would be one rich sumbitch.

I don't there's much overlap between the Angel haters of last year and the oscar haters of this year. I could be wrong, though.

I would take Angel and Rod over any player on Illinois' team last year, and I'd probably take JO over everyone except perhaps Myers Leonard.

This is correct.

If you've really got a problem with that, you can just ignore me from now on, because you're not changing my mind.

i don't plan on changing your mind, i plan on making fun of your excesses, hypocrisies and unwarranted attacks on others.
