how many of you thought "well, this is it...this is when it all comes crashing down". I had some pretty poisonous thoughts creeping in.....
but the KSU sideline didn't look worried one bit.

Tech came out with their little script and gameplan but when we adjusted they were screwed. It looked alot like the KU game. Pretty adorable how hard Tech tried.

when we get down i dont really freak out simply because our first 15-20 plays are scripted, we dont open it up usually until 5 minutes in

this. If we can't run the ball on Ostate in the 3rd quarter I will be worried...otherwise, Ostate will do the same thing. Come out with a game script, score with it and get all chippy....Then, when Gundy is out of ideas, Klein will crap on their defense. That's OUR script.

I will admit I was a little nervous, until I think it was our first drive of the 2nd Q. We had that run of four plays in a row that were each Good For a Wildcat First Down! At that point, I was thinking 'yeah, we got this.'

I was unable to watch at the time and was really annoyed that I was at a place where I couldn't watch the game and Tech was scoring and sacking us so I started a thread about how we wouldn't win another game.

So yeah, I completely lost my crap.

If Tech would have gone up 14-0 I was going to leave the game. Not out of protest, but because I hadn't been to a game this season and assumed I was screwing it up. Also because I would have been crying and it would have been embarrassing.

Right before the Day-gee fumble I said to my bud "man, I can't believe we're going to be down 14-0 here"

He replied "no worries KCFD, we won't let them score here"

It's like my bud really knew what was coming.

I don't get worried. I remember the bredth of our efficiency numbers on offense and the fact we have so many veterans on defense. I also think about Collin-Arthur-scheme doctor.

we were on the ropes on the first quarter. meshak F'ing Doege in the A changed the game. if we're down 14-0 there, Tech can begin to dictate the game.
