This case (thread) may be closed, but a new case just opened up at the Nebraska SRS. Steve Dave isn't even sure of how many kids he is taking care of.  :horrorsurprise:

might depend on the age of the kid, because every once in a while when i stay home with my 4 year old, i am ready to go back to work by noon.

Sounds like someone is getting outsmarted by their 4 year old.

oh absolutely.  4 year olds are smart as crap.

can confirm.  last weekend:

lil rams: dad why does willie have a big cat head and human body.

rams: well...because...he's the mascot...that's just...uh...he's a wildcat.

lil rams: but it's just a guy in a costume, right?

rams:  yeah

my 4 year old big-time'd the crap out of me the other day.  She busted open the bathroom door while I was on the toilet, took a picture with my phone, and then threatened to put it on facebook unless she got a snack pack.

i mean, wtf, where do they learn this crap.   eff you, Charlie Brown.

:horrorsurprise: T's & P's dude.  my 4 year old doesn't know how to unlock my phone, certainly doesn't know how to open up my camera, and doesn't have a clue what facebook is.  are you being serious?  that's some crazy crap for a 4 year old.  like I can't even imagine.

Why the eff do these 4 year olds know what smart phones are.  My 2 year old nephew has an iPad my parents bought him.  WTF?  If I have a 2 year old and my parents get him an iPad, ChiCat has a new iPad

Just to clarify, I am gainfully employed.  I just took a day off to babysit my kid.

It's not called babysitting if it is your own kid. It is called parenting.

He had to ask you if it was actually a guy in a costume?  He may be kind of slow.

It is an important job. A good stay at home parent will make sure your kids grow up to be functioning normal adults. However, I would not say it is "hard" or "difficult" at all.

I would argue that it's more difficult than important.
