We used to make beer floats.  Beer over vanilla ice cream.  Delicious. :lick:

Asked the waitress what a "lionshead" was like.

She responded, "The nastiest beer we have. It is like that nasty, old college party left over keg beer".

I proceeded to buy two pints

Had a lionshead with lunch today. It is, as the waitress said, incredible.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Is that the only place to  down here?  We got here late last night and wandered through 4 bars and most of them were closing or dead.....or a piano bar.

While common courtesy was being employed in most cases, the novelty of sharing an NCAA site with their rivals had generally worn off for KU and K-State fans by Friday.

Each school had staked out unofficial headquarters at two Bricktown drinking establishments — Bricktown Brewery for KU and TapWerks Ale House & Cafe for K-State — and neither group seemed willing to cross party lines.

Translation: You stay over there, we stay over here.

"I feel like (Kansas State fans) are a lot more friendly than the KU people," said Bergner, who graduated from K-State in 1989. "You see the people with all the Jayhawk stuff on walking down the street and they won't even say hi to you."

A group of six KU fans walked by Bergner as he was talking, and he waved.

"See?" Bergner said. "Not even a smile."

We went to a live blues place late thursday.  it was pretty meh, but the had serve yourself hotdogs for a dollar (w/ chili/cheese).  That kinda worked for me as a pit-stop before heading back.

In all fairness, it's probably tough to smile/chat when you have a stick shoved up your ass.

Also, "bbq" could be put on top for $1.  Relish/Mustard were free.
