Seems like quite the label to give us when we barely know each other at this point.

Premature?   :dunno:

You guys hung us with the coalaggie moniker so we decided to do the same.

Question: What's an aggie? Perhaps it's a vernacular issue but my understanding of the term is that an aggie is someone that goes to school and gets a degree in some outdoor related field that doesn't really require an education, like welding or lumberjacking (probably not a verb) or farming or yes, mining.

Everyone knows your state is a big coal mine.  "Aggie" means you're good at it.  It's a rather obvious name and it's quite strange to everyone that the name is rustling your jimmies.

Aggies grow stuff like coal.  Tech grows sand, therefore: sandaggie.  I think it all started when bearaggie (Baylor) called us wheataggie.  So I guess we grow wheat.

Good lord I had forgotten what a huge joke the Big East was.

I know right?  I mean the ACC was (and still is lol) total garbage, but they came in and took far and away the Big East's best teams.  That's like a guy with a raging case of Down's stealing your wife away.  A guy with Down's took Western Virginia's wife!  Worst part is that she's been banging the Down's guy for years behind Western Virginia's back and all their kids are actually his (Western Virginia is sterile on account of all the coal dust inhalation and poor nutrition), but Western Virginia is still going to raise them.  No prohibition on retardeds in the mines. :shakesfist:

Hey, now that is good comeback! Let's drag in an unrepresented group of disadvantaged people and use that group metaphorically to...(help me out, what were you trying to do?) I can't wait to see what you do next? Will you reference us in regards to homosexuals? African Americans? Hey, wanna try this one? :opcat:

Why is there a klan hood on this site? Just curious. Actually, very curious.

Thank you. I had no idea what it meant. Perhaps it's a regional thing. I think our disconnect might be that we might have a different thought on what the word means. Unfortunately, I have never grown any coal. I had a plant once but it died.

I have an 11:00 meeting. You guys just keep on doing what your doing and I'll find you after lunch.

I was under the impression that this was a place that could handle a little back-and-forth. Was I wrong? Are all your heavy hitters still out milking the cows?

We only have football related discussions with very intelligent people.  There is no way that we would ever deal in satire or joke about peoples lively hoods.  Not our style   :blank:

This is a joke, right? There's about 8 million pages of posts discussing the stain that comes from playing in Morgantown and talk of how thin-skinned we are and how violent and uneducated we are. My skin is just fine. Be not afraid, engage.

What does "farmpitt" mean?

We used to have a rivalry with Pitt. They are about to move to the ACC and we're where we are now. That rivalry is dead. Someone, not me, christened you guys as "farmpitt" on another board. I feel weird explaining this but KU = farm and rival = Pitt. Let's be super clear though. At best we would test-drive a rivalry with you guys. We're probably more interested in a relationship with UT or OU. It's nothing personal, you seem like you have a great personality and all.

Wow, this has gotten awkward. Hey, I think I gotta go check something out over...there. I'll be right back.

See...  SOMEBODY gets it.  I can get on board with calling ku "farmpitt".

Won't be able to do the after lunch discussion, I have to apply Richard Roll's market arbitrage theory to make money in the disparate translation of commodity prices in financial markets.  I'm a wheataggie.

KU does "Wave the Wheat" after all.  I can agree on this.  See, common ground!

That makes more sense.  I don't think you can grow bears just by pouring water on them...it probably just pisses them off.

Baptists, on the other hand, are KNOWN for pouring water on themselves.  It's their schtick.

YOU GUYS SHOULD BE THANKFUL TO HAVE US!  The Big 12 was on hte verge of collapse before we joined.  We actually win BCS bowls, have a great basketball team, and are a well respected uniiversity!  I guess you guys are too stupid to appreciate that you almost had to join the Mountain Worst.

It's not "Mountain Best"?  I mean it's right there and there some fairly nice venues and stuff.

Since you people still use the bartering system for life essentials I would've assumed you're familiar with the concept of misdirection plays.

Do you think it's a coincidence that we (and by we I mean established Big XII powers) cleaned out our malcontents and signed a bunch of SEC-type TV and bowl deals?

And don't act like we haven't heard how you coal aggies have dangled the Big XII life raft deal in your Pitt rivals' faces.  That's kinda a dick thing to do, even to rivals.

You know, the old big 8 teams would be the University of <state name>, but would use the initials of OU, CU, MU, NU, KU, etc.  WVU fits nicely with that standard.  Welcome.

We don't use the bartering system.  We signed big SEC-type TV and bowl deals because us and TCU decided to join.  If we hadn't, you would be signing deals for pennies with the mountain worst.  You ungrateful fucks.

Couldn't the SEC just taken you instead of bothering with Mizzou and A&M?

I wonder what that was all about...

Absolutely classic!!! The ACC Lite ERRRRR... Big Least is currently on life support. WTF do you actually think we'll get out of you joining our conference? A share of the WV TV revenue? GMAMFB that's rough ridin' HILARIOUS! Can you even pick up Big 12 games on the ol' tin foil coated rabbit ears? Well, that is as long as it doesn't interfer with Andy Griffith or you rubbing one off to Laura Engles on Little House on the Prairie re-runs (you know its in syndication, right?) I know you can do better than this, but if you cant - it's OK, we'll still love you.

BCS Bowl money, opening you up to the east coast market, etc.  We're probably the second most valuable member of this conference behind Texas.
