Coffman's terrible. What's surprising about that? He's lucky he still has a scholly.

Someone I know who is friends with Billy Cosh said that Billy and Klein look like front runners, while Slamur is behind them both.  Harper is def WR and not that good (just talks a lot of crap).  I cannot not vouch for the reliability of either myself or this source  :dunno:

so, on a bsnyder coached team,  coffman went from starting qb and captain one year to fourth string qb (before spring practices) and behind three guys that have never played d1 quarterback before...ever?

i believe you, but not your friend or not billy or not the person that told billy that or not the person that told the person to tell bill that or.....

Seems odd, I know, but if Coffman isn't quite noticeably better than the other guys, why waste the season starting him?  I think (and hope) Snyder figures he doesn't have the ability to play at this level, mine as well give a young guy a chance.  Especially since the young guy will prob start for awhile seeing as how there is little chance of us bringing in a stud quarterback anytime soon

BTW, I really don't believe it either.  Mostly just like rumor-mongering... got to do something in the off-season

which makes me wonder why someone would think that coffman would be fourth on the depth chart ahead of three other qbs that have never played a down of meaningful d1 football before spring practices have even started.  :dunno:

I only know two posters with actual reliable football info. One of them said Harper's at WR, Lamur will probably start at QB, and Klein is probably right behind Lamur.

I heard this same thing from my reliable football source.

No information that comes out of spring practice is useful for predicting anything about what the season will be like.

why didn't the Caveman LHC Bill Snyder recruit a decent Qb (I didn't say a great Qb).  Surely the opportunity for immediate playing/starting time at the B12 norths 2nd place team would be enough incentive for a servicable "signal-caller" ?

LOL, nevermind.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Also, just because this is the only decent thread on the football forum does not mean that people can piss all over it by talking about quarter backs. Does Bryce play qb?

Well, Coffman is "field-tested" terrible. The other three are only potentially terrible (which mean they're also potentially not  :ksu:).

You can put Limestone firmly in the Billy Cosh camp.  He has everything I am looking for in a QB.

Jump in the bandwagon (you may have to go laps in the back):
