2009 win @ Nebraska -- outgained by 123 total yards, turnover margin +8, won by 2

 What an amazing game that was.

4 fumbles inside the 5 yard line. I like how the offensive lineman about fought the guy who had one of the fumbles.

how god damn old are you? nobody here was around 23 years ago. take it to the geriatric board gramps.

Damn, I didn't realize everyone over here was a child. I guess I didn't know how bad the things in Kansas really are. No wonder you guys are all afraid of floods, most of your parents were probably killed by one.

Poor sad kitties. Good thing Grandfather Snyder gives you football and a little hope.

But Snyder did show up.  Enjoy your 49-43-4 record against us on Saturday night.  Meanwhile: :billdance:

I hope you enjoy your time while it last because synder can't live forever.

I like how many of you point how ISU owned you 70 years when you only have to go back 23 years or to the time when KSU was the worst program in America.

I always feel bad for fans of complete loser programs like ISU and KU when they say stuff like this.

These poor saps have no idea what it's like to experience the level of success we have seen...not even close. I would take 100 years of terrible and 20 years of elite over just 120 years of mediocre all day.

I guess we have a different meaning for the word elite. KSU football has been good to pretty good the last 25 years and has had some great, maybe even elite years but I wouldn't say there have been 20 elite years in there.

You have to take the series back to the early 60s for ISU to have an above .500 record vs K-State.

But man, the 60's were pretty groovy for clone fans.  Beating KSU was huge

they have to be the nerdiest fan base and that is saying something

Lol...in Ubben's "mailbag," he shared this e-mail that he got from an ISU fan:

Quote
Michael Bay in Ames, Iowa writes: Coming soon...TransFarmers: Rhodesbots in disguise.Optimus Klein, IronSnyde, and the rest of the Autocats once again take on Sentinal Klein, WashingTron, and the Deceptaclones....Will the win go to the Autocats since they are on the side of the light? Or can the Deceptaclones rewrite classic story formats everywhere? We will find out Saturday in the battle on CYbertron.

DU: Oh man, this was the best e-mail I got all week. Love my readers only slightly more than the Transformers trilogy. Best trilogy since Spy Kids.

Pretty creative, actually.
"If i worked for the NY times, and my boss told me 'hey. if you keep ranking ksu so high, we may fire you' i would tell my boss to 'bring it on.'"  -FFF

Puns were once considered high humor.  After the floods they were just regular humor.

LOL, I can tell you that the old Cat fans that I know were more concerned in the 60's about nailing as much "free love" ass as the could than they were about football that wasn't even on TV.

KSU fan in the 60's:  "He guys, let's go smoke some weed with these chicks and have loads of sex with them."

ISU fan in the 60's:  "Nope.  We are going to sit in the dorm room and listen to the AM broadcast of the ISU football game from the Story City radio station."
