2nd question:

WHO'S READY TO KICK THE SH*T OUT OF JOE SHEEHAN??!??!???!??

Quote
Kansas State: Get comfortable. The Wildcats go to the line more than all but two teams, and they foul more than all but two teams in the field. Throw in a bunch of turnovers on both sides, and they play some very long games. Kansas State is not a strong shooting team, getting a quarter of their points from the line even though they're not very good (254th nationally) from it. Defensively, they're reliant on smallish big men Curtis Kelly and Jamar Samuels blocking shots. A second-round matchup with BYU is a bad one for them; the Cougars are happy to go up and down the floor, they protect the ball and they shoot exceptionally well. The Wildcats won't get out of the weekend.

his "mid-majors got screwed!" piece about the tourney matchups was so stupid i actually emailed him to call him a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).  and then he followed it up with an idiotic pick of northeastern to the nit final four.  i've liked his stuff, but lately he seems to be using all of the logical capacity of your average shockernet midmajorist.

Gasaway was stupid w/ his mid-major rant, too.  He even was like, "People pointed out to me, using statistics, that the matchups are about what you would expect if the selections were completely random.  I still don't believe it."  KenPom should fire his ass if he could.

I woke up this morning and had a scratchy throat.  Guess what?  MANLAW.  If you feel slightly unhealthy on a tourney day, you call your ass in sick.   :ksu:

fyi, their chat is pretty interesting.  Gasaway is of course a pompous, uninformed ass, but Pomeroy is great when he posts.  His, "just like the predictor said, an easy 7 point win for BYU" line made me LOL at work.
