You know those McD's hashbrowns that come with the breakfast meals?  Basically just a flat, oblong tot.

i would say that the current hibachi hut tots are not the same and are not as good as the tots from ten years ago. while the current version is good they also seem a little bigger and not as golden when cooked. so a little bigger (more insides/less crunchy outsides) and they also don't cook them to quite the crispy/crunchyness that they used to.

Who is the new Hibachi Hut guy? I worked at T-Star back in the day when John still owned it (a while ago for those of you keeping score).

this thread is starting to remind me of one we did a while back where we talked about favorite to least potato/potatoh. if i remember correctly that universally agreed upon order was this (keep in mind this is best/most favorite to worst/least favorite).....

hashbrowns (the sliver kind and not the cubed kind)
tator tots
french fries
hasbrowns (the cubed kind and not the sliver kind)
mashed
baked

also keep in mind that this was stricly just a potato/potatoh list and did not include potato dishes like "funeral potatos" and "potatohs au gratin"

I couldn't agree more. They are frustrating because they look and smell delicious, but taste like butt.
