This is a very exciting time for **** and I!! Please allow us to make the announcement of Baby Girl's arrival. If we happen to send you an announcement, pictures, her name, etc... Please, please, pelase don't post anything until we post ourselves. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing group of friends and family to help celebrate our new beginning. And we cannot wait to share the news of her arrival!

Yes, first kid. The husband is a police officer. She lives in Missouri.
Also, she just asked for pediatrician recommendos yesterday. Seems a bit late for that, but what do I know?

If a friend or family member posts to Facebook first do you think she would even want the baby anymore?  I mean what's the point of even having a baby if you can't rack up hundreds of likes on Facebook?

Apparently friends/relatives posting about a baby on Facebook before the parents is a huge problem.

I have a parent and several extended older family members that are extremely addicted to likes. It's pretty gross and a lot a people are very serious about Facebook attention.

Distant family friend. Took selfie of herself after crying

This is the face of grief. It's an unfiltered, unposed reality. It's a photo of me, after a really bad bout of grief last night. I took it and am posting it, not so you can feel bad for me, but so you can see the real face of immeasurable loss. I took it and share it, only so you can see it in others, recognize it and help them.
Pain is harsh. It is ugly. It is real. It is in us all, and it is all around us. Pay attention. See the tears that wash the mascara away, at the end of each day. See the face, without the gorgeous filters. See the deep pain, passing itself off with flashing smiles and putting itself back together, every morning, as it faces yet another, long day. See the dark etching that agony has done, under the eyes and through the skin. See the blood drained, from mouths that are exhausted from forcing fake happy all day.
See it and don't turn it away.
