None of you have posted one shred of evidence that would suggest Bill Self is cheating on his wife.  Nothing.  You're basically a bunch of high schoolers spreading rumors.  How can you not see this? 

I got my original info from two entirely separate groups of (hot) girls in Lawrence who said Bill Self bought them the same stupidly-named shot ("Wet Pussy").  The overlapping details convinced me that's true.  Of course, that didn't mean he's cheating.

Months later, I spoke with a good friend of mine at KU who says her friend is Self's mistress and he was living at the Oread for a while.  Third-hand info.  She also said there was a divorce proceeding filed and pulled in Wichita, so I posted to ask if that's even possible in Kansas.  She also said some other stuff about pay-offs that I didn't post since it WAS pure speculation.

Anything other than hearsay.  This rumor has been around since 2008, and you clowns are just now catching wind of it.  It always resurfaces whenever KU loses a few games, so you do the math.  I lived in Lawrence for six years and never once heard a rumor that Bill Self cheated on his wife.  In fact, every time I saw Self in public he was either with his wife or his assistants (sometimes both).  Random girls do approach him all the time looking for autographs or pictures or whatever, but that doesn't mean anything.  A celebrity figure like that doesn't just go around rough ridin' random girls whenever he feels like it.

Why would this be filed in Wichita.  That is not how legal proceedings work, generally you file in the county or city you reside in.

I agree with this 100%.  I'm hearing these rumors from KU grads I know (in Des Moines, Chicago, South Bend and New York).  These are just rumors at this point.  It may be true (in all reality it probably isn't or the perception will be that it isn't).

What other kind of evidence can you have on a message board? Why did Frank Martin leave? Well, we have lots of rumors on here and lots of people with connections who have heard things and it kind of paints a good picture that him and Currie didn't get along, amongst other things. Are there any e-mails or hand written notes from Frank to John or vice versa? No, because this is a message board. Do I have an e-mail in which LHC Bill Snyder asks Currie to make Sean head coach after he leaves? No, but there is enough evidence through hearsay to believe it to be true.

It's a message board, Beems. We report rumors that we've heard. I don't believe anyone is making anything up. Exaggerating? Possibly. My die hard KU friend who was a Beta at KU told me Self would go try to pick girls up at the bars late on weekend nights. That was 2 years ago. Why would he tell me that about KU's beloved coach if it wasn't true? I guess you can assume I'm just making that up, but I don't know why you think I'd do that. Me making that up does nothing to benefit K-State, so I'm not sure what you think my motives would be.
