John Fox ran the ball on 3rd and 7 before that 70 yard bomb rather than have Manning attempt a pass that could have won the game then. Basically, he's a jackass.

"I started calling him John during the game, cause he was rocking it like No. 7 -- like Elway," Harper said."

Oregon is just going to promote their OC so I don't see them losing a ton of recruits or anything.  At least now they will have a coach who isn't a side talker.

You talking about their RB?   Cause I literally thought  "Damn, that guy might be dead"  after the hit.   I hate it when their arms go all stiff when they're unconscious like that.

Can you imagine if Brady actually had a decent receiving core around him? He'd be unstoppable.

The Chiefs will sign Pollard again and Welker's knees will be gone.

KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue

Welker was the best receiver he ever had, right? (sure, Moss but he was only good for the one season with the Pats) And Welker was nothing special with the Dolphins. But, the Pats system did make Cassel look good for a season so far torn...

True, Branch did have some decent seasons with them. I think my post was as much a question as anything.

Welker was pretty good in Miami with 0 QB play, and Cassel looked like trash in New England. I had Moss on my Fantasy team that year.

I guess you could say that but Moss has records from that season. It was one of the best seasons in NFL WR history...

I think the Pats realized that if you have a good QB he can make the WRs better. They don't spend a whole lot on them (even Moss, IIRC) and it generally works. Sure, let Welker go, plenty of good receivers want to play with Brady.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.
