I prefer to view this as a sign of respect. Networks assume we're winning again in a one-sided rout that won't keep eyes on the game, so they gave better slots to such dogs and OU vs OSU and ISU vs Tech (woof).

it's a self fulfilling prophecy because nobody will watch our game on ESPN+, which sucks. but i'm curious if our game would actually do worse than Tech vs ISU in that time slot on FS1. our game at least has a ranked team involved.

I don't think anyone was under any illusion that bedlam was going to be on +, that game this year as the Saturday night ABC national game is shocking, check the mentions of the tweet, even OU and OSU.

Baylor TCU on Big Noon Saturday isn't a shock because they've made the choice to put real shitty games in that slot, all season. Seven of the ten games they've have been blowouts. They've only had 2 games with a ranked team against another ranked team.

Bedlam is kind of interesting this year because I'm not sure which team is worse. Whoever loses is still better than ISU, but is the clear 2nd worst team in the conference.

Admittedly there is a bit of drama going in to Bedlam as to whether OU can secure a bowl bid. I doubt I’ll watch but I’ll be checking the score.

I saw a blurb on ESPN saying the matchup was extremely close on paper, but threw out that TCU had the more reliable placekicker.
