I think I'd rather puke some than try to place my own IV needle or let some other non-medical professional do it.

It has always been a dream of mine to go get an IV drip as a hangover cure. Maybe toss in some morphine! SOME, but lots of saline.

I have an alcoholic fireman friend, he gives them to himself and he goes from deathbed hangover to normal functioning within 30 min.
