Three big twelve teams in the top nine and only one SEC team. Love it.

top 10

Big 12 - 3
PAC 12 - 2
Big 10 - 2
SEC - 2
ACC - 1

interesting that the top 5 teams represent each respective conference, the 6th team gives the big 12 it's 2nd team in top 6, the only conference so far.  7th team gives the Pac 12 it's 2nd team in top 7.  8th team gives the Big 10 its 2nd team in top 8.  9th team gives the Big 12 it's 3rd team in the top 9, the only such conference with 3 top 10 teams.  10th team finally gives the SEC it's 2nd team, or by my calculations the 4th best conference.  while the ACC only has 1 team in the top 10 and they are undefeated, which means that the ACC rough ridin' sucks.

I think if nothing weird happens with the rankings next Tuesday we can finally stop hating the ESPN SEC correlation. It may also help Fox become a viable competitor on the sports news market. As ESPN struggles for relevance and the SEC slowly fades away so will ESPN. And all will be right in the world.

The committee doesn't love or hate anyone. They are just picking the best teams, and it only makes sense that the Big 12, America's best conference, is going to make up a substantial portion of that list.

is cbs allowed to keep using that line "the best games from the country's best conference" or is that technically slander now?

Yeah, I like the Fox Sports little robot guy dancing around when KSU is Snydering opponents.  Not only that, but everytime KSU plays on ESPN, we always get "breaking news" from the lesser SEC games.  AND... Erin Andrews is on Fox who is a total fox.  Essentially Andrews > Musburger.
