If you're that close just pay the $50 to cancel your contract, switch carriers, and get the 5.  Basically upgrading for another $50.  And it keeps #life happy

Hmm, with Sprint you can buy out the rest of your contract and upgrade right away, it's usually not too much $$. I don't know if Verizon does that.

Yes, you are familiar with the 4S, so it's probably the smarter option short term anyway. I mean we haven't even seen the iphone 5 make a call yet.
