First off, I think you should know that most of the posters you have encountered thus far are in no way, shape, or form real KSU fans. They are mostly high schoolers out on spring break with nothing better to do. I was hoping (in vain) that someone with some sense around here would offer up an official greeting to our visitors from North Texas. Instead what happened was a lot of posturing and an attempt by the local PC brigade to run some of you guys off.
First off, I for one don't think that KSU will win this one easily if at all. The biggest reason for that is our complete lack of coaching. Frank Martin, quite frankly, justs gets bodies. He recruits AAU kids and has them hit the weights. I have know seen three full years of his style of basketball and it would come as no shock to anyone that he was (and still is) a high school coach. We run no offensive sets, just one-on-one basketball. Most practices consist of Frank Martin rolling the ball out on the court and letting the kids play streetball while he continues to recruit. Our lack of fundamentals is getting legendary in fact. You must have heard Hall of Fame Coach Bobby Knight on numerous occasions criticizing our lack of positioning on the floor on offense. Our "point guard" (if you can call him that) is very selfish and repeatedly shoots wild threes as soon as he passes mid-court without ever passing the ball once. Since he is spanish like the head coach, he gets shown a lot of favoritism. Our point guard also has a tendency to get over-emotional (hot-blooded) and get a lot of technical fouls. I imagine your players will try to get is head from the start.
While I will cheer for the 'Cats to win, I also know that our "Coach" is simply a layover from the previous regimes overwhelming desire to "diversify" our athletic department. The facts are plain: this experiment has already destroyed one program (which HC LHC Bill Snyder is resurrecting as you will find out in the fall).
In short, I offer you the best of luck Thursday.

My son's ex-wife was a North Texas grad. In music education I think. From what I can tell you guys are fighting a similar fight with regards to ivory tower professors that we are here in Kansas. I would say more, but this board is pretty PC and this thread would get deleted.
